Mission and Outreach

Our Mission and Outreach ministry is local and global. Locally this ministry assists families in need such as senior citizens, and the sick and shut-In. Davison is also actively involved in the community by partnering with local area schools and businesses. Our outreach also includes annual community clean up days, food distribution and the Prison Ministry.

Music

Sing songs of inspiration through the vehicle of hymns, spirituals, as well traditional and contemporary gospel music. The choir groupings are the Adult Choir (1st Sunday); Men for the Master (Male Chorus 2nd Sunday); Pastors Chorus (3rd Sunday); and the Youth Choir (4th Sunday); Voices of Davison (Mass Choir - 5th Sunday). The music ministry is under the coordination of Brother Reynold Hemphill.

Pastoral Care

Pastoral Care Ministry oversees the emotional, spiritual and physical needs of the membership by spiritual counseling, operating a 24/7 intercessory prayer line, visiting the sick and/or shut-in in hospitals, adult care facilities, and at home (upon request), bereavement consultation and follow-up and the emotional, spiritual and physical needs of the Shepherd. Ushers and Greeters

Ushers and Greeters extend hospitality to members and visitors by assisting with their seating accommodations and the flow of worship protocol during worship services, church programs, and funerals. We provide information and direction regarding the church service and information on the building as well. The serving schedule is Adult Usher Board (1st Sunday); Youth Usher Board (2nd Sunday); Male Usher Board (3rd Sunday), Young Adult Usher Board (4th Sunday); Mass Usher Board (5th Sunday).
